QUICK TIPS!

GETTING STARTED

  • Introduce yourself! Tell them who you are, how your SkillCorps® journey began, and why this work matters to you. Share that call is being recorded for internal review purposes.

  • Tell them what to expect. Tell them when you'd like them to ask their questions, tell them about how long it should take (45-60 mins) and invite them to relax and be themselves!
COMPLETING THE INTERVIEW SPREADSHEET

  • For questions: Most of the drop down answers on the spreadsheet allow you to choose more than one answer, use your judgement to select answers that best align with what the interviewee said during the interview.

  • Coachability Rubric:
    • 1 Resistant | Demonstrates a fixed mindset and low openness to learning. Avoids accountability or growth-oriented reflection.
    • 2 Reluctant | Shows some awareness of growth needs but speaks about them in vague or hesitant terms. May appear uncomfortable with ambiguity or change.
    • 3 Receptive | Speaks openly about past learning experiences. Shows curiosity and thoughtful engagement in discussion.
    • 4 Eager | Expresses genuine enthusiasm for learning, growing, and collaborating. Views challenges as opportunities.
